Alan Schneider has instructed Business Negotiations and Accounting courses for the U.S. Small Business Administration. He has also been a guest lecturer at Pace University Graduate School of Business in New York.

In 1976, the National Society of Public Accountants elected Mr. Schneider as a delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business.  Mr. Schneider has been appointed by the NYS Supreme Court as a Hearing Officer for matters of real property tax assessment appeals in the 9th Judicial District of NYS.  He heard appeals of owner occupied property tax grievances.  Mr. Schneider has also spoken to various organizations including: Chambers of Commerce, Civic groups and professional associations on various tax topics.

Jonathan Schneider, IAR, is a partner in Schneider Financial Group, Ltd..  This family owned business has been helping individuals and businesses with their accounting and financial needs for over 30 years.  Schneider Financial Group has gained a solid reputation in the community for the professionalism and integrity that every client receives when they walk through their doors.

Before joining the firm in 2004, Jonathan was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps instructing Marines in hand to hand combat before leaving for overseas combat zones.  He did a tour in Iraq in 2003 and returned to Mahopac when his military duty concluded. 

Presently, Jonathan is on the Board of Directors for the Lake Mahopac Rotary Club and also for The Greater Mahopac/Carmel Chamber of Commerce.  In addition, he is the assistant coordinator for the Putnam /Westchester County area of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots drive.  Jonathan also participates in many other charitable organizations and volunteers for various events.

Jonathan was born and raised in Mahopac and graduated from Mahopac High School.  He is a graduate of the University of Buffalo where he earned his bachelors degree. 
 
In 2000, Jonathan began his career in financials working in Long Island as a stock broker for Investec Earnst.  He has been involved in the financial industry ever since.  Jonathan has been involved in business and the community since he began working in Mahopac at the age of 14.
